My Friend, the Princess

This Post is in honor & tribute to my dear friend, Leah Millan, a.k.a. the tulle queen. She & Alex just celebrated their 3rd anniversary. I recently came across these pictures from her wedding and couldn't help but remember how great of a time I had. I was 7 months pregnant with Drew so it worked out just in time for John & I to fly down to Alabama for the wedding. It had been a couple of years since Leah, Steph & I had seen each other, so it was just like the good old days getting together again! Steph had just told us that they were expecting their first (Canon), so we were very excited! Leah's wedding was so beautiful. The Petit team did all of the music for the ceremony and it was phenomonal. That was our last get-together to date. Now 3 years later, there are 5 kiddos between us! And a personal apology to Alex: I didn't have any pictures with you in it~SORRY!

(or something like that)

This picture is hard to see, but the sign behind us says, "Expectant Mothers Parking"

All I can say is 'Only in the south!'

We even got the hubbies to help out!

Well, Leah, I hope this makes up a bit for the fact that I totally forgot!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

Those are great pictures! I never got to see her wedding pictures. Who is the blonde bridesmaid? Is it Molly Ijames? I wasn't sure. Anyways, looks like you all had a great time.

Oh to see our Sassy clothed brightly in tulle once again! Only Leah can pull off the miles of tulle and the red lips!! These are great pictures - I don't have even one picture of either one of your weddings. I am not quite sure how that happened. So many memories...

Oh Erin!! I have a big lump in my throat and tears in my eyes! What a special post. Thank you! Some of our best memories were at one another's weddings :) Oh boy, what special special friends I have! Yes, when my day finally rolled around- so did the tulle :) I LOVE the picture of Stephanie helping me with my veil!! I had never seen that one. You guys are the best! I love you and look forward to when we start pulling out the tulle for this next little generation :) (if we ever get them potty trained and eating with utensils)
p.s- glad you liked the ham and cheese crescents! Soo yummy and easy :)
