Great pictures! That is so wonderful you have kept up with college friends Erin. We have an Irish surprise the boys are getting ready to send you all! :) Hope you are doing well. I have a picture of a chocolate croissant and David that we are getting ready to send. David said, while in New York, "See, I told Jon there were chocolate croissnts!"

It was soo nice to get together with Steph! We have actually been friends since we were 15...through HS, college, marriage & now kids!! :)

Chocolate Croissants were spotted, huh!!! Guess you wouldn't find such finery in our pow-dunk little town!!! We'll def. keep those in mind next time we go to NY!! I would LOVE to find a recipe. WHEN WERE YOU GUYS IN NY????????

Steph: yes...the memories. That week was actually kind of a whirlwind, at least during the day. Then once the boys were all down all I remember was HOURS of talking! :) Miss you.

Erin,

this is on a more personal note...grew up at Marquette Manor in Illinois...your maiden name wouldn't be Quinn, would it? was in the same class as your (I'm assuming) aunt Jackie...been trying to locate her. I know she was outside Atlanta. If you get a chance, please pass my email along...bradsmith@michaelsaunders.com.

Thank you.

A very happy birthday to Stephanie! I loved seeing her closet turned crib nook. It reminds me of Ella's first "bedroom". The whole first year of her life she slept in a pack n' play in the closet in the hallway of our apartment. The sliding doors would only close halfway and so I hung one of my grandma's beautiful old quilts over the closet pole and draped it down over the front of her bed all the way to the ground to block out light at bedtime. During the day it was tied back with a sash to the side. To this day she can fall asleep to any noise!

happy birthday to your friend Stephanie. . .and how did you get a month ahead of the rest of us??? ;) I just noticed that the date on your post said April 2008!!! How did you manage that one?! ;)

I noticed that too! funny.

oops. here's the deal about the date...
sometimes i write posts out of order...but i want them to be in a certain order as appears on the blog. so to change them i adjust the date or time under post options at the bottom of the new/edit post page. guess for this one i put 4 as the month instead of 3.
that is funny! good observation, girls!
