The Quinn's on our wedding day
8.4.01
Mom birthed & reared 5 kids which = a lot of long days, laundry, home-cooked meals, birthday cakes, nights of homework help & argument difussers between siblings!! I don't EVER remember hearing mom complain about the daily duties which she kept up with like a pro. Our home was ALWAYS perfectly in order and mom was always on her feet doing something! Her art though is displayed through her garden! She has such a wonderful touch in knowing exactly how to place colors and types of plants to make a beautiful display. Anything she puts her hand to do, she does it well!!!
I feel like I am just beginning to understand the great sacrifices Mom has made over the years! She is such a hard worker and gave everything to our home and us kids. I don't know how to thank you enough, mom, for everything you are and give to us & for never giving up on us! :)
I LOVE YOU, MOM!!

Happy birthday to Mrs. Q!
And...a very happy Mother's Day to you, Erin!
Happy Birthday Mrs. Quinn! Erin, you better hope you have your mom's youthful genes :)
Erin, your comments on my "Leah Tortilla" post cracked me up :) Was that the Miss Piggy HMMMMPH? :) Also-- I was in a craft store the other day, and I saw "You Better Not Pout" in a big frame-- it reminded me of that card you sent me one Christmas during school :) So funny!
Loved seeing your wedding pic. =) I remember that day.
By the way, I tagged you once again to tell us 8 things about yourself that we don't already know... =)
You do have a GREAT Mom, Erin. What a special gift from God.
Hey Erin! I hope you are having a grand time with your familia!
Just catching up . . . thanks for the beauiful pictures! I also love the fact that you put pictures of yourself on your blog. Some blogger neglect to do that and it makes me so curious to know how much they have changed/not changed.
Erin! This is Carolyn (Mook) Rohrer! I am so glad that I ran across your blog today! I got to it from Sarah Mincy's (her married name slips my mind at the minute) blog. I was glad to catch up with you. Your boys are adorable. I saw your comment about being Kristin's roommate at BJ our freshman year. I don't know if you remember Rebecca Larson who was my roommate? Well, now she is my sister-in-law. She married my husband's younger brother, Jonathan. They were both in our wedding and then kept in contact afterward. They have been married for almost 2 years! Anyway, it's hard to believe that it is 10 years since we went to college, isn't it? Our freshman prayer group was great! Do you still keep in touch with Kristin and with Lisa Monroe Miller?
